Demand for Collaboration Stations Grow
We just had our first request from a group of med students to reserve time on one of our collaboration stations. It seems from 10 - 3, the stations are packed. Our door count is up 30% this year and we believe its the highly visible activity around the collaboration stations. We added a 5th and placed it on the 2nd floor. It is already being used.

While waiting for furniture, rolling white boards, etc.
The student evaluations just on the visible human have been exciting and gratifying. Everyday I walk through the lobby and the manipulation of the dissected human pulls them in like a magnet. We just created a spiral menu and installed a wireless card as we wait for dropped power and cables that will start the middle of July. I've grabbed a couple of resident orientation groups in the lobby and dragged them into see the rudimentary set-up and their jaws have dropped. In presenting the concept and reaction at the Deans meeting yesterday I was asked if there were "visible horse" software simultaneously by our Senior Vice-President of the Health Sciences and our Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine. We are looking into! Look for an upcoming answer. Have a great 4th.
